On Friday evening the 14th December the last of the Summer Soccer was being played at Huruatai Park. This is a fairly social and sometimes competitive game. We have been really lucky with the weather during all the rain we have had.
Our team has been together for some four years now and happened to be leading by i point over the second place team. The evening was hot and humid but we played a team called Kaos and managed to win 5 - 2.
All that training has paid off? Not really as we are truly social but I want to encourage poeple in Otaki to come and join in a team sport and have a great laugh at the same time.
